  • Hyaluronidase

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme (compounded by special pharmacies) that causes hydrolysis (breakdown) of hyaluronic acid. It is often referred to as a reversal agent for hyaluronic acid-based fillers. When the enzyme is injected it dissolves the synthetic hyaluronic acid filler, leaving your own intact. Lumps/ bumps of dermal filler: Hyalase / hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve the lump of dermal filler product Unevenness of dermal filler: Hylase /hyaluronidase can be injected to even out and smooth the appearance of dermal filler Infections: With an infection related to dermal filler injection, hyalase /hylauronidase may be used. Blue appearance under the skin due to dermal filler (Tyndall Effect): This will resolve with treatment with hyaluronidase / hyalase. Asymmetry of dermal filler: This can be treated with hyalase / hyaluronidase being injected into the larger side to bring the size down to match the other side. • PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

Many over-the-counter products have made claims to restore hair, but few work like medical grade hair restoration injections. Hair restoration plasma injections are an effective treatment that promotes hair growth and also prevents further hair loss. Hair Loss Can Be Reversed With Injections Plasma injections are gaining popularity for a variety of conditions, from sports injuries to hair loss. The treatment uses the patient’s own plasma which, when injected, accelerates hair growth or healing in the specific area. Plasma plays an important role in healing throughout the body. Plasma contains growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. We use your very own plasma to cure your hair loss. Both men and women can develop hereditary hair loss, which is the most common cause of hair loss worldwide, or androgenic alopecia. The first noticeable sign of hereditary hair loss is usually overall thinning or hair loss in a specific area. Often, it can present as a receding hairline or a bald spot. The best thing about medical grade hair restoration treatments is that the injections are all natural because the treatments use the patient’s own plasma. The injections are considered to be among the safest hair loss treatments. There is absolutely no risk of having an allergic reaction. The hair restoration injections are repeated every 3 to 4 weeks and continued until satisfactory hair growth is achieved. The earlier hair restoration treatment is started, the better it works. Without treatment, you will continue to lose hair. Book a free consultation with one of our cosmetic nurses to discuss treatments options that suit your needs.

Lash extension fills are simply new lashes placed on natural lashes as the old ones are about to fall off. This would be considered a full set of new eye lash extentions.

  • Thread Lift

We lift areas of sagging or loose skin in the face and neck. We can also lift the brows for that signature fox eye look. Thread lift results are instantaneous and collagen production is accelerated as the threads dissolve in the targeted area. Fox Eye or Brow Lift There is one cosmetic trend that you may not yet be familiar with. The fox eye lift first became popular in Europe and has recently exploded worldwide. The fox eye thread lift uses dissolvable sutures to lift and stretch the brows up and back towards the temples. The result is an almond shape, or elongated eyes which most describe as flattering for women. The fox eye lift treatment usually lasts up to 12 months depending on many variables. Treatment duration varies based on the patient’s genetics, metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Patients may also need some additional threads during this time period to maintain the look. Threads Erase Fine Lines Smooth threads are another type of dissolvable thread that stimulates the production of collagen and creates facial volume. Smooth threads can erase fine lines in the face and neck. Patients can now choose threads along with facial filler for cosmetic anti-aging treatments. Threads Dissolve Naturally The threads used to create a lift are made from polydioxanone (PDO) that are made from biodegradable material. Most of us are familiar with PDO threads that are used by surgeons to close up wounds after surgery. PDO threads dissolve naturally within the body and trigger collagen production. Collagen is what we need for younger looking skin. Threads are generally fully dissolved 9 months following your treatment. PDO threads are Health Canada approved. As we age, our skin naturally loses its firmness due to decreasing collagen and elastin production. As a result, fine lines, wrinkles, and facial folds begin to form. Today, living in a world obsessed with beauty and social media, it can be easy to look in the mirror and wish your face was a bit more lifted. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with aging, there is also nothing wrong with wanting to do something about it. This desire is precisely why cosmetic treatments like non-surgical facial thread lifts are on the rise. Thread lifts are minimally invasive with bi-directional barbs that help tighten and lift sagging facial tissue. A thread lift provides an immediate effect as well as a regenerative effect.
